40m Underwater Case User Guide
How to Use
1. Check Sealing: Before use, ensure the case is properly sealed.
For example, after placing the phone inside, lock the side latches and use the vacuum pump to draw out the air until no visible gaps remain around the edges. (Models PU9100W, PU9010W, PU9117T, PU9118T do not require this step.)
2. If the seal is not secure, water may enter and damage your phone.
3. Operation: The case supports touch operation underwater. Under normal conditions, you can access all phone functions via the touchscreen even at depths of up to 30m.
Precautions
1. Usage Environment: Always follow the rated depth and time limits of the case. Exceeding these limits may cause case damage or water leakage.
2. Cleaning & Maintenance: After use, clean the case promptly, especially the sealing ring and buttons, to remove salt or debris that could affect waterproofing. The sealing grease on the O-ring can dry out quickly when exposed to air. If it appears dry, reapply sealing grease immediately to maintain proper sealing.
3. Function Check: Before diving, test all function buttons of the case to ensure they work properly. Set your phone screen to a??stay awakea?? and reduce brightness to keep the phone cooler, which helps minimize fogging inside the case.
FAQ
1. Case Leaks: If water enters the case, check whether the O-ring is installed correctly, damaged, or contaminated. Ensure the sealing grease is not dried out, the latches are securely locked, and the case body is intact.
2. Phone Cannot Be Operated: At certain depths, water pressure may reduce touch sensitivity or disable touchscreen operation. Also note that the stainless steel springs under the buttons may corrode if not dried in time, reducing their elasticity and affecting performance.
3. Poor Shooting Quality: Underwater photos may be affected by low light or refraction. For better results, use a case with a built-in fill light, or shoot in brighter underwater conditions.
