It worked a treat. No issues
Although everything I'd read said you can't change the battery, I persisted and found a Youtube video that showed how to change the Ring doorbell battery. Did a Google search and came up with Buy2fix who sold the battery at a reasonable price - Ordered the battery; it came with a small tool kit, and it arrived a few days earlier than scheduled. The battery was identical to the Ring battery, fitted it and all is good! Woulkd definately use Buy2fix again.

I cannot give a final review yet as unfortunately the precision screwdrivers could not open all of the screws on the doorbell. In addition I will not know for certain until the doorbell is opened whether or not the battery is suitable. I ordered an S2 battery but there is a slim possibility that it might require an S1 instead. Apparently it could be either, I have new screwdrivers coming from Amazon and I will give an updated review when I finally manage to open the doorbell.

Exactly the one I ordered and fits, but arrived too late. Didn’t think I would ever receive it. Because it was weeks late. So had to order one from elsewhere. Would like to be able to return it, but can’t find information to be able to do this!
