This works great.
I use it as the interface between my phone and the car radio. (The radio only knows Japanese and can only interface Apple products.}
Once setup it immediately connects and starts playing Spotify connected to the phone (Android) via its own WiFi.
I had contemplating trying to replace the head unit but decided to give this a try. Absolutely the correct choice.
