On the surface and mount wise these cushions and back covers are identical, however after mount and multiple checks the amount of ambient noise in the same place is sadly a bit higher (difference is less than 5dB) however for someone with sensitive ear - this may be a 'no go'. At the end the increase of noise per buck payed is at understandable level, may be worth investigating some o-rings or other sealant to ensure perfect fit between the rim of cushions and headphones. Good product overall.
